Richard Craggs, dubbed 'China’s Jamie Oliver' by The South China Morning Post for bringing quality canteen meals to factory workers and school kids with his first F&B company, Nourish. Already feeding over a million mouths a month Craggs has been featured on Blooomberg TV, Bloomberg Businessweek, CCTV, China Daily and the South China Morning Post and dreamt up a new food revolution, feeding the lower and middle-class by lighting a firecracker under the meal delivery business with his food tech startup, NomNom. Since setting up operations in September of 2016 NomNom has been quietly gobbling up meal deliveries for it’s B2B customers in South China. NomNom recently announced that it cooked up a raise of USD2.25m in seed financing led by Raging Bull a Singapore fund headed by famous entrepreneur Ivan Lee as well as other finance and F&B angels from the US, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. As a result of their accelerated growth NomNom has opened up Series A financing to expand its operations throughout South China at a USD15m pre money valuation. When Craggs envisaged the NomNom concept in 2015 identifying a need for the people of China to enjoy convenient and healthy meals for business or home delivery he spent twelve months refining the model in order to ensure it was designed to be a viable business. The core focus is to upgrade the lives of the lower income workers and deliver quality chef cooked meals at affordable prices within minutes to both educational and office customers yet also be highly scalable. Realizing a niche within the multi billion dollar catering market in China I founded Nourish, with an eye to becoming the industry leader. After 12 months we are supplying over one millions meals / month, serving 80,000 end customers for major multinational corporations such as Volkswagon, Emerson, Foxconn as well as Schools. Specializing in onsite canteen catering for both factories and schools - our vision is to greatly improve the lives of millions of Chinese labourers and students through the supply of quality, tasty, nutritious restaurant quality food at competitive canteen prices. Based in Shenzhen we are mining the 60,000 plus factories and some 70 million migrant workers based in Guangdong prior to a wider role out of our brand. We service canteens direct and through our franchise model where caterers can run a Nourish canteen under a set of strict and managed guidelines. We recently completed an M&A of a famous Chinese canteen caterer, Dadoule, added a Office Cafeteria and will shortly be adding a chain of 5 x restaurants to our group. In addition I independently researching another exciting business development project 'NomNom Limited', covering centrally cooked chef made meals for O2O and B2B consumers - available through a newly developed APP, WeChat APP and web platforms. The APP will bundle home delivered meals, business delivered meals, restaurant home delivery, factory and school meal distribution, food trucks, ingredient sales and distribution for businesses as well as a grocery marketplace for home delivery via our distribution hubs throughout China. Addressing the growing concern of food safety we aim to establish ourselves as the premier food trust brand in China. Harvest to hub to home. Our brands are controlling the supply chain to ensure consumers can rely on us to provide fresh, healthy, safe food and ingredients for their business or personal requirements at prices below the market. Founded Nature's Foods taking over two loss making restaurants and reinvigorated the sales and operations removing all personnel and restructuring the business. Specializing in live music bars and restaurants I added innovative marketing techniques to drive sales as well as a restructuring the business operations with a 100% staff turnover to evolve a profitable business. Nature's Foods was established with a business plan that focused on factory and school canteens as I identified a niche for low cost quality meals that could greatly enhance the lives of millions of factory workers and school kids in addition to solving a growing heated topic for factory owners. As a result of the fast paced success, I eventually took on investment partners to separate my business in two - Nourish was born catering specifically for the factories and schools. Show less

History & Heraldry China, Paper Island China and John Hindes are sister companies under the umbrella company Sourcing Partners owned by a UK based holding company that design and develop gift ware and premium items. Their items are sold in 80 different markets and translated into 28 different languages worldwide. They are best known for developing sentiment and personalized items. History & Heraldry and Paper Island has a combined USD30 million P/L in China on various OEM retail gift products. History & Heraldry Asia and Paper Island Asia are the sales arm of the group head offices out of Hong Kong. • Managed Asia & China totaling 80 staff. • Responsible for China and Asia P/L's. • Business Development, Sales, Procurement, Product Development, Sourcing, Quality, Logistics and Finance. • Established History & Heraldry Asia and Paper Island Asia creating the first Asia sales arm for the group. Founded our own offices directly dealing with end retailers or utilizing distributors in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, India and Indonesia. • Rewrote and instituted process and procedures that made the China operations operate efficiently. • Resourced all pre existing southern based suppliers to further afield factories reducing product costs that remained within strict margin budgets (within an inflationary China). These initiatives resulted in the savings of millions of USD each year and ensured the groups profitability. • Optimized and created various processes and procedures and reorganized the staff to better meet the demands of the company. After almost eight years of industrialist service I left to peruse my dream of founding my new company 'Nourish'. I remained an equity holder of Paper Island Asia until bought out by management in 2016. Show less

Founded Fifth L'ement International, a promotional gift company that specializes in global blue chip accounts. Within a short period we had established ourselves as the preferred supplier of major blue chip companies such as Pepsi, BAT, Philip Morris, Yum Brands amongst others. Our goal was to ensure that these companies could maximize the scales available through consolidated orders that we set up and operated for them with the support of our international support team creating an industry first business strategy in the global promotional market. Within three short years we had supplied 6 continents, were based in each continent with 12 overseas offices serving the largest accounts in the world.
