  I currently work as a News Analyst for Data to Decisions CRC's "Beat The News" program.The work is aimed at providing a capability for constant, automated analysis of publicly available data, in order to predict and identify significant societal events such as political election outcomes or disease outbreak in countries of interest.My role involves researching and encoding news reports along with social media content on current affairs and social disruptions within Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Malaysia and Fiji.
