      I began my career with Camden and received an astounding foundation for the past 11 years. I began as a Leasing Consultant and was rapidly promoted to Assistant Manager and then Community Manager, working on assets as small as 188 units up to nearly 1,000 units. During this time, I filled the roles of Leasing Consultant, Assistant Manager, Community Manager, Business Relations Manager and Mentor. As a Leasing Consultant, I maintained a minimum 40% closing ratio and helped my community maintain an average of 97% occupancy. As an Assistant Manager, I turned the collections at my community around, being the first Assistant in more than 5 years to consistently collect over 99% of the monthly billing. As a Community Manager, I led my team to success as the #1 performing community, company wide, for 3 months preceding an incredibly successful disposition. As a mentor of both Leasing Consultants and Assistant Managers, I had a 90% promotion rate and was often requested by my colleagues to mentor their new hires. This was my favorite role in the organization and fueled my passion for education in this industry. As the Business Relations Manager for the DFW area, I established and developed relationships with leading businesses in the area with the goal of adding them to our Preferred Employer Program.
