Rocio Vargas

Creative and determined are the words that come to mind when I think about Ray. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Ray for about 5 years and working very closely with him for almost 4 years, during which we were responsible to meet very tight deadlines in several manufacturing projects that would make or break our business year. I was always impressed with Ray’s abilities and commitment to his work. Even during the most stressful times, Ray managed to add a little humor to our days while keeping focused on the task. Ray would be a true asset for any positions requiring mechanical/industrial engineering and creativity and comes with my heartfelt recommendation. Rocio Vargas VP of Operations

I worked with Ray Vivar as Senior Project Manager on the Breezer Mobile Cooling Team. Ray was part of the engineering team. I interacted with Ray almost daily, both in one on one situations and group settings. I was always impressed by Ray's tenacity to meet deadlines. His pragmatic approach to design requirements and project timing were key in helping me and the team leaders manage the project efficiently and meet established deadlines. Ray was responsible for a number of product designs and design improvements. His status reports helped the project management process run smoothly as well as brought to light bottlenecks that needed to be resolved to keep the project moving forward. I particularly enjoyed working with Ray because of his no-nonsense approach to product development. He was very clear in voicing his concerns when he saw the project team/management take unnecessary tangents. He was adept at demonstrating better ways to design and manufacture the final product, making sure not to take shortcuts that would compromise the project or the release of new articles. During our 2 years working together on the project team, we developed a good personal relationship. His sense of humor and sense of comradery lightened even the most stressful of situations.
