Also managed credit & collections, cost accounting, manufacturing financial support and consolidation accounting. Directly manage 4 functional mangers and indirectly 35 accounting staff. Led accounting services integration of multiple acquisitions raging from $1M to $300M, hiring replacement accounting staff and integrating accounting functions to shared services, achieving synergy cost savings. Integrated three subsidiary accounting systems onto shared services systems, eliminating legacy systems, reducing headcount, and streamlining financial reporting and controls. Managed financial system implementations, Lawson, JD Edwards, Pillar, and Hyperion. Automated certain functions through procurement cards, document imaging and scanning, automated T&E processing, and EDI. Implemented internal controls requiring all balance sheets accounts assigned for reconciliation, inventory cycle counts and turns analysis. Implemented Asset Securitization accounting in 4 entities working with Treasury to sell receivables and lowering cost of capital. Accounting lead on SC Johnson Professional legal entity separation and tax free spin off. New accounting responsibilities included multiple country royalty and inter-company accounting, employee benefits, stock and dividends, profit sharing, tax, and consolidation accounting. Special assignment, 4 months, controller for $50M subsidiary after sudden incumbent resignation. Assumed responsibility for all financial budgeting and reporting while continuing to manage NA and HQ shared services.
