Ralf has been a keen and fruitful master of Innovation Management. In his various roles with Fonterra across Europe and North America Ralf was charged at bringing the creative ideas from the Fonterra Innovation Technologies Head Quarters in New Zealand where he visited often. Ralf has a sense about managing the creative process of others and can facilitate effective brainstorming and can project how potential solutions may play out in the marketplace. He built relationships quickly and relates well to a wide range of cultures.

I had a lot to do with Ralf Neuendorf during the 4.5 years that he worked for Fonterra USA. I have been particularly impressed with Ralf’s project management and people management skills. Ralf was Project Manager for the establishment of our Chicago Technical Centre in Rosemont, Illinois. This project included building selection, building fit-out, selection of equipment, and transfer of a reasonable amount of pilot plant equipment from Guadalajara, Mexico to Chicago. This was a USD2.6 Million investment with the project being completed on time and within budget. Ralf makes an excellent manager for scientific and technical staff because he has an easy-going nature, but also he gets things done. His experience includes remote management of a team in Guadalajara Mexico from Harrisburg USA, the transfer of a number of the Guadalajara staff to Chicago and the hiring of a completely new dairy application team in Chicago.
