Working with tribal women farmers by developing a value chain for underutilized farm & forest produce by increasing the shelf life from 1-2 days to 12 months, thereby uplifting tribal women lives socially and financially, saving trees from deforestation and reducing farm & forest produce wastage. At present, we have over 600 women from 12 villages employed to oversee the entire production line – collecting, grading, sorting, washing, processing and packaging of naturally grown wild fruits that are indigenous to where they live. We currently have two product lines with B2B & D2C sales – Custard Apple and Black Plum pulp is consumed by the catering and Ice cream-making industries and wild Jamun based health products widely available on our website www.Tribalveda.in and also on different Ecommerce website like Amazon, Flipkart etc.
