As a work study student with the Physics Department in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, I assisted in all the daily functionings of an office. I collected and sorted mail, organized student files, delivered packages, created copies of tests and other documents for professors, helped set up and tear down for events, and ensured that the office had all necessary supplies on hand. Editorial Intern

During my time as an editorial intern for Red Flag Poetry, I coordinated and moderated all of the publication's social media profiles, regularly updated and edited their website, assisted with marketing, advertising, and promotion for Red Flag Poetry and Red Flag Press, managed the flow of submissions to Red Flag Poetry and voted on which submissions to publish, copy-edited poems for Red Flag Poetry Express and Red Flag Poetry postcards, helped prepare Red Flag Press editions, and aided in the general expansion of Red Flag’s readership both at IUP and worldwide. Production Intern

As an intern for IUP's College of Humanities and Social Sciences digital projects team, I was primarily involved in content development (writing stories, conducting interviews, recording audio and video, taking photographs) to insure that information about the college's programs and latest successes of students and faculty were visible to the campus and the world. I produced written news stories (pitch, draft, revise, edit) on college events and programs, gathered and synthesized information from the departments to compose, revise, and extend informational content on the website, conducted interviews, recorded audio, took photographs, and captured video.
