In 2020 I co-founded a small no-dig veganic Community Supported Agriculture project growing a range of seasonal veg on a half-acre site. Lazy Meadow Farm has supplied 15-20 weekly veg boxes to families in the local vicinity for two seasons, and has engaged farm neighbours in volunteering and learning about soil health and food-growing. I was recruited to take on a newly create role, initially on a 6-month, contract to coordinate Compassion's campaign against long distance transport of livestock, focusing on exports from the UK and from EU to non EU countries. In this time I arranged a protest march in Central London which hundreds of Compassion's supporters attended and a campaign stunt in Dover (an animal export hot-spot) where I projected campaign graphics onto the cliffs above Dover Port.
