    • Treatment Administrator/Counselor
      • Sep 1999 - Sep 2014

Between 1999 and 2014 I was employed as a Forensic Evaluation Coordinator, Treatment Team Administrator, and Registered Counselor at BCS. Between 2004 and 2008, I held licensure as a Registered Counselor (RC00049067). In this capacity I led an adjunct group for partners of court-ordered clients in treatment with our office, and met with partners individually to review legal and clinical paperwork in preparation for safeguarding approval through the state. Responsibilities included assurance of full understanding of the client offense behavior and assessing partner's mental state and readiness to proceed. I met often with court-ordered and evaluation clients in a counseling capacity to provide support during the pre-trial process. From 2004 until 2014 I provided supervised visitation for court-ordered clients with their families and children, conducting pre-meeting assessment for mental state and readiness to proceed for each party, and ongoing assessment of client behavior during meeting, with authority to cease meeting. As an administrator, I served as primary attorney/prosecutor/polygrapher/DOC contact for court-ordered clientele, and facilitated specialized appointments during court related evaluations. I worked with clients on scheduling, organizing and administering testing, reviewing legal/evaluation paperwork, in-depth personal history interviewing, coordinating polygraphs with client and polygrapher. I administered and scored evaluation testing for review by the evaluator, and constructed polygraph questions to be approved by the evaluator. In situations where a client was attending treatment due to having crossed ethical or legal boundaries, I worked closely with outside professional offices and created status reports for case management. I gained much experience in clinical writing and assessment tools as the primary person responsible for entry of detailed demographic information and non-clinical writing in the completed evaluation report.
