CAMSA - Cameroon Medical Students' Association is a full member of the International Federation of Medical Students Association, IFMSA. SCOMER CAMSA is a CAMSA Standing committee on Medical Education and Research Exchange under the Cameroon medical students’ association. The ultimate 2 IFMSA committees in one; the standing committee on Medical Education (SCOME) and the standing committee on Research Exchange (SCORE).As a director of the committee, I was incharge of coordination and management of the SCOMER national team, who worked with me to effect all activities of the committee.A few outcomes during my term as Director SCOMER CAMSA: It is in during this work that I became the main editor for the 1st CAMSA National Health Week 2019 Report - published on CAMSA Issu,founded the 1st Edition of the MERSS (Medical Education and Research Students Symposium) and together with my team, we successfully organised it in December 2020, Successfully led the 1st Webinar series on "Medical Education and Covid19 Pandemic : A Cameroon perspective" and together with my team we successfully organised it in July 2020, authored the ebook, "My Guide to Clinical Medicine, 2021 edition", credit to my SCOMER assistant for the layout design of the book and to colleagues who supported me. together with my team, we established a MoU with CAMSA & Lecturio Medical Education, supervised & coordinated several educational activities that were successfully organised under 4 CAMSA SCOME programs in the year 2021,Chaired the OC for the 1st CAMSA General Assembly where I led a team that successfully organised it in Douala, November 2021.SCOMER CAMSA aspires that medical students are involved and actively participate in the development of their education and attain an optimal professional and personal development, including international standards research knowledge and skills development, to reach their full potential as future doctors for best quality healthcare nationwide. Chairperson of the Constitution Review Committee

As chair person of the constitution review committee, I coordinated a team of seven FAMSA members representatives of the 5 parts of Africa (Central, West, South, East, North) for reviewing of the FAMSA constitution document and developing change proposals. The aim was to enhance the impacts of FAMSA through building of solid frameworks and guidelines. FAMSA is the african association representatives of all medical students in Africa medical schools, working towards a healthier Africa. I was elected for the work by the 32nd FAMSA GA in November 2018, and ended upon vote of end of duty during the 34th FAMSA GA in February 2021. Outcomes: The Constitutional and By-laws Changes Proposals were submitted to FAMSA head quarters, presented, reviewed and adopted during the 34th and 35th FAMSA General Assembly; for processing of the revised FAMSA Constitution. As a member of Meaningful Student Engagement policy small working group, I contributed by taking part in formulation of the policy statement and the position paper in order to solidify IFMSA's advocacy stance regarding this crucial topic. Outcomes: Policy paper was voted and adopted at the IFMSA August Meeting 2019, made public on IFMSA online server and accessible to medical students and educational stakeholders. Juin 2015- September 2015I worked specifically at MIA Prepas, as a teacher in the department of MIA prepas health-related fieds, I was engaged in delivering lectures and tutorials on topic assigned to me in biology, at the MIA prepas, Buea center, St Therese secondary schools and Landmark university.As an active MIA prepas staff, I was also assigned as an assistant centre coordinator at Landmark university for the phase 3 preparatory classes. During this time, I dedicated my full time for 2 weeks in mentoring students and tutoring in biology for intensive preparation into competitive entrance exams into Cameroon health professional schools.Juin 2016 - September 2017The following year, I was assigned by the MIA Southwest Regional Surpervisor as one of the representative of MIA Southwest in the temporal mergier of MIA prepas with the Mufreprec preparotory classes. During this time I was recruited as a teacher for biology and french at the MIA prepas -Mufeprec center, buea. Secretary General, Debate Club

The aim of the debate club was to generate effective critical thinking skills and to learn public speaking about primary issues on a given societal topic of concern - to meet and interact with students from other school disciplines (biochemitry, economics, finance, engineering etc) in the context of a social and intellectual activity, to create a platform for simultaneous learning opportunities of leadership development and group works on societal matters. As a seretary general of the CATUC debate Club, my role was to support the president in ensuring the smooth functioning of the management of the debate club. This varied from ensuring meetings are effectively organised and minuted, maintaining effective records and administration, preparing the constitution and regulations document, communication and collaboration with external patners. Not only that, I was also a great debater. I actively participated in the preparation of the first ever inter-school Debate Club competition organised by the the debate club in patnership with Alliance Française, Bamenda. I acted in the position of prime minister for the debate group , under the theme of "Internet as a positive tool for university students". Show less
