Jim C.

Phil was a great asset to Virginia Tech. Among our donors, he was one of the most popular and respected development professionals. He is tremendously motivated and is extremely knowledgeable in his field. His advice was regularly sought by his colleagues and junior staff. As a consultant, I regularly recommend him to others as a valuable resource in the field of fundraising.

Marc M.

During my tenure on the major gifts staff at Duke, I found Phil to be an extremely collaborative colleague. His depth and breadth of gift planning knowledge is impressive; and his ability to coach/mentor the major gifts staff on simple and complex charitable gift planning strategies was very effective. He is a true asset to Duke and epitomizes the term teamwork. I look forward to the opportunity to serve with him again in the future.

Sales / Management / Finance primarily in VA, NC, SC and TN. Began as Management trainee, was promoted to Territory Manager, then Health Products Information Director for the Mid-Atlantic Division, then District Manager but resigned to attend law school. RP no longer exists but was a great company when I worked there and Bill Stiritz was a wonderful mentor and a "leader by example" as a CEO. I was also a "SAM" intern for Ralston-Purina after my junior year in college (and they treated us like kings!). Show less
