  Post graduation I was hired by the college ministry I had volunteered for a year prior.   My senior year in college I was hired from a volunteer position to serve as the sports media director for Central Washington University’s award winning radio station KCWU; which was awarded the 2015 collegiate station of the year. As the director I was charged with the entire productivity and production of the sports media department. I oversaw the staff of three and volunteer staff of ten as they worked tirelessly to produce original award winning content, while developing personal and professional experience for their own media dreams. I had the privilege of serving as the voice of the wildcats as the play by play broadcaster for the women’s basketball team. Daily I saw to the consistent media content through social media avenues and on air shows put out by not only myself but also student volunteers. I had the great opportunity to not only host but be a common feature on many different types of shows covering a broad range of materials from sports to pop culture. During my tenure I was instrumental in the origins of the WildCat Sports Radio network and the implantation of other universities such as WSU and PLU on our own airwaves in hopes to promote other students talents for a broader audience.
