Working together on two critical projects at Virgin media Paul was my Technical Project Manager, he played a key role in the success in the delivery of both. Utilising his strong personality, understanding of the business and the requirements of the projects, he created training guides for both our partners and project team, budget forecasting tools, weekly dashboards, creating new process and briefs for the project, whatever was needed was completed on time to the right standard, often exceeding the requirement. The important part for me was the manner this was delivered in, utilising his determination to succeed and interpersonal skills if he didn’t know he’d find out and learn new skills or ways of working, sharing with the team to develop a stronger better-informed team, creating a supportive culture that succeed together! Paul would be an asset to any team, and would I be delighted to work together again if the opportunity arose.

Working with Paul Smith on a critical project from Virgin Media has been one of the best learning experiences I have had in my career. Paul while working as Technical Project Manager on the programme played a key role in the success from inception to delivery. Vendor Selection, Budget Forecasting and Actuals, Risk Management, Planning, Workpackage allocations to vendors and driving the training programme were all possible because of Paul hard work and meticulous attention to detail. During my time in Virgin Media, I found that Paul has excellent business sense and adapts very quickly to the changing environment. He doesn't just deliver the project successfully, he also helps others along the way to do the same. Paul has all the right ingredient that any project manager can wish for. Building relationships with stakeholders and developing a positive working culture in the team is another strength that I found in Paul. Paul as a Project Manager for any organisation will be a huge asset and I sincerely hope that we get to work together again.
