Sole responsibility for establishing excellent contacts with the buyers for the Arcadia Group, Debenhams and others. Identifying market potential and creating and establishing this Branded Clothing Store in the Canary Islands. Using my contacts established over 18 years I deal with the buying, advertising and marketing also the legalities of registering the name and expanding the concept. In just under three years we had a recognised brand name in Lanzarote. In those three years we have expanded the business by establishing three other stores by business contract .This has helped increase our market share and also develop a loyal and vast customer base with residents and tourists. The contracts and terms of the agreement I am responsible for as well as buying for them as well. All this achieved in a different country and culture as well. With successful growth we had also managed to increase our turnover by 30% each year and thru more efficient buying increase the profitability of the stores. By also refitting our original store and establishing this look and concept for the other stores we had created a fresh , modern and corporate look for our customers in Lanzarote.By excellent customer service and staff training we had a high level of repeat customers and our hit rate ( Customers who walk in and actually buy ) was very high as is our Euro`s per customer and items per customer. This all helped our profitability
