I had the pleasure of being on Patty Meuchel’s Direct to Consumer team at Owen Roe Winery. I worked closely with her in the tasting rooms, coordinated outside winery special events, in-house club pick up parties, as well as seasonal Wine Country festivals. I was constantly impressed with her professionalism, knowledge, and organized skill set. As a dedicated team leader Patty managed a diverse team, and her overall management style was always calm, supportive and motivating, all while working in a highly energized work environment. Patty's a team leader. Her optimistic cheerful attitude via email, on the phone, or in person was reassuring to our first time visitors and long time members. Her interpersonal relationships with owners, employees, and guests made her a valued company asset. She demonstrated reliability, integrity, and personal responsibility. Her overall job performance was exemplary; she was directly responsible for creating and maximizing wine club membership sales channels, increased retail sales year over year while consistently exceeding budgeted sales goals.
