Jenny Leung CPA, CGA, BBA

LifeScan Canada hired Nihad to support a top-down approach to risk management as part of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act. Compliance requirements and project. Working collaboratively with the various cross functional stakeholders, Nihad successfully strengthened the control environment by implementing a sound governance framework and internal controls. She improved the risk assessment process and documentation by designing and implementing risk assessment matrices and standard operating procedures. Nihad's contribution to improving the organization's risk profile while reducing complexity and achieving efficiencies was integral. I fully recommend Nihad.

Bryan Price

Nihad was tasked with optimizing our company ERP and defining all points of friction, from organizational to technological. She overdelivered on the assignment by grasping the HR issues and uncovering deeply rooted practices inhibiting company value and performance. Deliverables: Strategy Roadmap working with the matrix organization (Managing Director, senior leaders, General Manager, IT department, domestic and international manufacturing plant leadership) and a detailed roadmap to ensure execution of key milestones through weekly performance monitoring with middle managers. In short, a complex project well handled with clarity and professionalism.

Morgan Tam CPA, CGA

Nihad brings a mature and knowledgeable presence to consulting projects: she is a high-achiever who consistently keeps the big picture in focus. A pleasure to work with!

I was pleasantly surprised when I landed my first clients: CHC Helicopters, LifeScan Canada and Paraxel International.

The In-Salah Gas project was about delivering 9 billion cubic metres per annum (bcm/a) from eight gas discoveries in the Ahnet-Timimoun Basin of Central Algeria. It is a vertically integrated company operating in all oil and gas industries, including exploration and production, refining, distribution and marketing, power generation, and trading. I was hired to work for the In-Salah Gas Project, a joint venture between BP and Sonatrach, the leading Algerian State-Owned Oil and Gas company and the 12th largest oil consortium in the world, with 154 subsidiaries operating over the entire oil value-chain from upstream, to midstream, and downstream activities. The In-Salah Gas project was about delivering 9 billion cubic metres per annum (bcm/a) from eight gas discoveries in the Ahnet-Timimoun Basin of Central Algeria. This was my first permanent job after obtaining my bachelor's degree in business administration. I was then in my 20s, and the thought of landing a rotation job was appealing as I could study, travel the world, and sustain my charity work while being part of a great company. I learned the importance of procurement, contract and project management, risk management, and regulatory compliance. I quickly collaborated with the head of the logistics department and was involved in preparing files and communicating with the Energy Ministry and the Health Ministry. The quality of my work led to rotations in BP headquarters in Sunbury and Greenford in London, UK. I enjoyed living in a base and sharing meals with highly skilled professionals from all over the world. This was a great company to work for and a great experience. I was a university student at that time, and the money helped pay for my car expenses. My parents were not living in the same city and trusted my ability to manage a budget and service a car. Their preference was not to live on campus, so the least I could do was bear the maintenance cost.
