It was really terrific to work with Nick this year, who showed himself to be both a great team player and a great partner. As the GLC's Executive-Vice Chair, Nick did a terrific job helping to manage a budget of more than $170 thousand dollars, and ensuring that we were spending consistently but efficiently at the same time. Through Nick's effective management, the GLC was able to spend 97% of our budget, and all but 1 of the individual school councils that were under the umbrella of the GLC was able to use the funds they had been allocated in their entirety. The American University Administration was very impressed with this. Nick also helped to lay the groundwork for the 2012-2013 GLC by helping to re-write parts of our Constitution, streamlining many of the processes by which the GLC conducts its business.
