      Wetherby in Support of the Elderly (WiSE) is a Neighbourhood Network funded by Leeds Adult Social Care. Opened in 2003 we now have over 140 volunteers offering a wide range of support. Staff include a Volunteer Coordinator, Activities Coordinator, Info and Advice officer and two members of staff running the WiSE Owl Café in Boston Spa. In 2014 a new and much needed Transport Scheme was introduced. And is proving to be very popular.       I retired in 1997 having spent 28 years working in Psychiatry. Awarded Churchill Fellow in 1993.
