I met Neal in 2017. I was building my clinical aromatherapy program for long-term care and working with one of the facilities he oversees as Chief Medical Officer of Benedictine. Neal is forward thinking and innovative with an entrepreneurial spirit which makes him a huge asset. I observed him as a visionary help Benedictine evolve their programs tremendously over the years. He sees and understand the needs of long-term care and senior living presently and long into the future. Neal saw the value of clinical aromatherapy (my wheelhouse) and other non-pharmacological interventions for symptom management and comfort care in Benedictine communities. Collaborating with him and his team over the last several years has been wonderful and the impact we have made on the lives of their residents has been nothing short of amazing. I still recall regular check-in’s with his teams, and all the wonderful stories we still receive of success enhancing the quality of life in their communities! Although Covid had its impact on all businesses, I still work with many in the Benedictine portfolio today and look forward to continuing to build what we started several years ago. I have also watched Neal grow several of his own businesses, and specifically find joy and fulfillment as a medical expert. I don’t know where he gets all his energy! With a legal background myself I think it is a great way to utilize his medical training and expertise as a leader in long-term care. Neal is also a great leader and mentor. He is always willing to provide support and feedback to help others grow and expand their own mission and visions and I am grateful to call him my friend.
