Duties and responsibilities: As a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant, being a part of the Finance team and professional Accountant having the following summarized duties and responsibilities but not limited to: • Prepares monthly statements by collecting data; analyzing and investigating variances, summarizing data, information, and trends. • Prepares cash flow statements for financing the projects from financial institutions • Providing regular update on financial position of the projects in terms of cash flow and profitability • Participating regularly in preparing prospective financial information (PFI) including budgeted financial statements • Providing assistance to Accounts manager in closing monthly financials • Participating in annual budget preparation and comparing quarterly results with the budget through variance analysis • Prepares state quarterly and annual statements by assembling data. • Prepares special reports by studying variances; preparing budgets; developing forecasts. • Providing assistance to Cost control manager in budget control, cost to complete analysis and alarming on variance from the budget • Updates job knowledge by keeping current with financial regulations and accepted practices; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations • Preparing Ad hoc reports for the board and management meeting. Works Contacts • Regular contacts with Finance Director • Regular contacts with other departments for collecting and clarification of data. Independence of operations • Reports directly to Finance Director. Supervisory Responsibility • Regular peer review of receivables, cost control, Suppliers and profitability reports Show less
