  Hilico provides off-grid solutions for water, food, energy and hygiene to impoverished communities in the developing world. The company's first product was the world’s first Portable Rain Harvesting Device, and it was developed as a response to the growing water crisis. Around the world, there are ±800 million people without regular access to clean water. More than a million people die every year of waterborne diseases. In addition, poor populations pay up to 66 times more for clean water. We founded Hilico to help them.
