If Mitchelle is on your team, success is guaranteed. I have worked with her in several youth mentoring programs, and she never disappoints! Her passion for teenagers and young people shines through in our youth programs. All she wants is for them to grow up to be their best selves, especially the girls. Her warm, friendly personality endears her to them and will captivate you from the moment you meet her.

I taught English and Literature to form one and two girls at Kamae Girl's Borstal Institution for my teaching practice for my undergraduate degree. This is no ordinary institution and provided a very unique learning experience providing a complete different view and scope of need for learners with Emotional and Behavioural difficulties and in this case - Young people in crime. I look forward to pulling resources to create a difference in the lives of the young people who find themselves in conflict with the law especially girls Show less

VSO ICS is a program (currently paused) that brought together young people aged 18 – 35, to volunteer for 10 – 12 weeks with the UK Government-funded International Citizen Service (ICS). Together with other greatly talented young people I was placed in Wote - Makueni County Kenya and implemented Empowered Youth for Entrepreneurship and Employment (EYEE) Program where we worked with young people out of school to support training in soft skills necessary for employability and entrepreneurship. My placement was Nziu Technical Training Institute and Zatumbi youth group I later on took keen interest in supporting young Deaf people in Wote facilitating trainings in best employment and entrepreneurship practices, linked them up to employers and business funding opportunities through the NCPWD portal and implemented a similar project at home in Bungoma upon completion of the program Show less
