We developed a new single-subject method for independent component analysis (ICA). This approach deals with functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) acquisition of human brain. The method consists of two steps. First, we identify independent components (ICs) from each fMRI acquisition. In the second step, we classify ICs to find consistent spatial pattern across subject.Key feature was the design of the classification algorithm.
