Michael Thibault was a contemporary art gallery located in Los Angeles, CA that specialized in the exhibition and representation of international emerging and mid-career artists. As Owner/Director, I was responsible for all gallery programming, curating, sales, client development and relations, marketing, exhibition design, operations, and more. During this time I managed a full-time staff of three employees, as well as a rotating staff of interns and freelance employees, as well as regularly travelled internationally to participate in foremost art fairs in Basel, CH, New York City, NY, Paris, FR, Miami, FL, and more. Cinematic Moments was a curatorial project space housed in a devoted room in a north London flat that focused on international emerging and mid-career artists working in film and video. From September 2020 to September 2021, Cinematic Moments staged exhibitions with foremost contemporary artists Jacolby Satterwhite and Raphaela Vogel, along with screenings presented in collaboration with Stephanie LaCava, Chino Amobi, Sayre Gomez, Lucy Bull, Soon-Yi Venice, and Lyndsey Welgos. MONUMENT 2 was a contemporary art exhibition project space, located in a repurposed storefront in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago, IL. During its two years of operation, MONUMENT 2 hosted over thirty public exhibitions, screenings, readings, and performances from international emerging and mid-career artists. Selected artists exhibited include Dan Graham, Barbara Kruger, John Henderson, Ben Schumacher, Elaine Cameron-Weir, and JPW3.
