I have the pleasure working and collaborating with Meg on several occasions across the online event portfolio of Event Planners Talk. Meg has helped me to launch and coordinate the #eventprofstalk hackathon in April 2020 and the #eventprofstalk Digital Festival in June 2020. Her excellent skills of content development and community management are outstanding. Meg is quick to respond and engage and always very helpful and customer centric. She has also introduced new discussions and initiatives to these digital events, for example about books and wellbeing. Meg is also hosting the #eventprofstalk Instagram Live series where she interviews event professionals about current topics and these are very well received by the community. It's a great pleasure working with Meg and I look forward to continuing this collaboration!

In my first teaching role, duties include assisting the teaching team with the execution of the undergraduate Tourism, Hospitality and Events courses at the University of Queensland. Tasks include corresponding with the course coordinator to ensure that weekly tutorials have the correct teaching material, marking essays and exams, updating information on Blackboard and ensuring that the undergraduate students have the knowledge and tools to excel in the future. With this new role, I have discovered a passion of sharing former knowledge and experience in the Tourism, Hospitality and Events Industry to students whom are interested in pursuing a degree or career in the industry.

With using Canva as a tool, I designed and created the media for Industry Networking Night 1 + 2. Assisted the Summit Guest Services Team to ensure that the Summit LA 2017 Conference ran smoothly. Roles included arriving early for training and team meetings. To ensure that the role ran smoothly, we had to be familiar with different events running at all of the spaces on a daily basis, a knowledge of where departments were located and of the event to ensure guests' questions were answered in a timely manner. After the conference shift, guest services associates were assigned to a restaurant in the area where we assisted with check in of each dinner shift and close out. It was an interesting and challenging role with long hours where each employee had to ensure that they were in top form for the event to run smoothly.
