Meagan's experience in the Mayor's Office spanned over six years and 3 administrations. During this time, Meagan developed vast experience is strategic crisis communications, community relations and community development start-up. As the Community Relations Manager, Meagan worked with key community leaders and non-profit partners to develop a neighborhood master plan for as east side of Detroit neighborhood. Meagan facilitated focus groups, created work plans with deadlines and measurable goals. She compiled all data to ensure that development plans included community input, with realistic goals and expectations from city leaders and non-profit and financial partners.
