Beyond Architecture Formgivning for et bedre samfund Bagved alle opgaver, ligger en større problemstilling – Hvordan skal vi bo i fremtiden? Hvordan skal vores børn undervises? Går vi på hjemmekontoret, fælleskontoret eller bare kontoret? Hvad skal vi være fælles om og hvor kan vi trække os tilbage? Vores projekter udspringer af en kritisk analyse af disse problemstillinger og igennem en tværfaglig designproces, frigøre vi os fra vanetænkningen. Vi forener arkitektur, landskab og ingeniørvidenskab på nye måder, som ikke bare løser de udfordringer, vi står overfor, men tilbyder nye veje for os at gå. En form tværfaglighed vi kalder Beyond Architecture. Show less

  Firm was established by the three architects Brian Vargo, Jonas Nielsen and Mathias Palle for the project NEW AARCH - New School of Architecture in Aarhus The three architects won the 1. prize for the open competition for the New School of Architecture in Aarhus and in 2018 the team of Vargo Nielsen Palle, Adept, Rolvung og Brøndsted arkitekter, Tri-consult and Steensen Varming won the international project competition for the first newly built school of architecture in Denmark: NEW AARCH. AA-Lab imagines a school of architecture as an open process rather than a defined typology – one that invites its own evolution by opening where we draw the border of where architecture begins and ends.
