While working on the research project VIRT-EU, funded by the European program Horizon 2020, we collaborated with Mathias to create an animation on ethics. Working with Mathias was indeed an incredible experience. We had a tight deadline, and from day one, Mathias helped us understand each step of the process from scriptwriting to final distribution of the short animation film. Mathias has impressive work ethics. He can be creative and allow for ideas to flow naturally while also delivering in time. He helped a diverse group of stakeholders understand the process of making an animation which helped us combine ideas from different researchers key to the project. Mathias reviewed our script, provided feedback and also made an excellent storyboard. The final result was an outstanding short film. Even our designer drew inspiration from Mathias's selection of colours for the project's brand identity makeover. I was genuinely impressed by how well Mathias worked independently and in collaboration with our team. Also, Mathias works on different styles and formats, which allowed us to choose the perfect visual style and tone of voice of the animation. It was indeed an honour to work with him.
