  AMBI ENERGY is a Caledonian company specialized in the design, construction (EPC), operation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems. As a project manager in a small team, I have to be autonomous and rigorous in order to follow the projects from the design of the technical file to the final reporting, including the construction site supervision. This includes the design of the installations (PV power plants, rooftop installations, installations on isolated sites), feasibility studies, yield calculations, quotation studies, supplier consultations, definition of the schedule and supervision of the work of the field teams. I discovered the advantages of working in a small structure with large projects: the variety of tasks to accomplish, the dynamism of the teams, the autonomy, and the close collaboration with all the members of the company. *** AMBI ENERGY est une société Calédonienne spécialisée dans la conception, la construction clés-en-main (EPC), l'exploitation et la maintenance de systèmes photovoltaïques. En tant que chargée d'affaires au sein d'une petite équipe, je dois faire preuve d'autonomie et de rigueur pour suivre les affaires depuis la conception du dossier technique jusqu'au reporting final, en passant par le suivi de chantier. Cela prend en compte le design des installations (centrales au sol, installations sur toitures, installations en sites isolés), les études de faisabilité, les calculs de rendement, les études de devis, les consultations de fournisseurs, la définition du planning et la supervision du travail des équipes de terrain. J'y ai découvert les avantages de travailler dans une petite structure avec de grands projets: la variété des tâches à accomplir, le dynamisme des équipes, l'autonomie, et le travail en étroite collaboration avec tous les membres de l'entreprise. This last point is the subject of a research study on participatory design methods and their adaptation to the Kanak customary world. In result, my team and I developed a program to empower youth in the Global South to take action against climate change in their country. This program, "Young leaders of tomorrow", is still in development. During 4-week, I dedicated myself to the challenges of climate change.
