During this period within a niche industry, I built a solid reputation as a trusted town planning recruiter, able to make discreet direct approaches to source suitable candidates, and to provide a transparent and candid service. For this reason, I attained a particularly high level of repeat business from clients, and also referrals from very satisfied candidates. I then held a successful position as a Senior Consultant in the Residential team, recruiting Chartered Surveyors (with a residential focus) into real estate consultancies, residential developers and housing trusts. As the market gradually shifted towards the global economic crisis, I deviated into a more international focused role which focused on property recruitment into the MENA market.
