Researcher for the Participatory Poverty Assessment (PPA) study held for the first time in Ethiopia and third time in Africa. The study aimed at analyzing the qualitative aspect of poverty including food insecurity and general level of livelihood. As a research team leader in four sites (Dire Dawa, Harai, Jigjiga and Shinile), my duty was supervising the four researchers in the team, participating in the actual field work, and writing report of the four sites.
