I had worked with Marjan at Microsoft in Denmark where we had been team mates. Along with being a very skilled professional, Marjan had also a very good sense of humor and an awesome attitude. Marjan came into our team, MBF - Runtime Model Services, as an intern at Microsoft. He immediately showed great personal skills along with strong technical abilities. He was quickly able to grasp complex concepts and actively reached out for all the knowledge he could get to understand the full context of the functionality under development by the feature team. The project, codenamed "Project Green" was based around "Model Driven Development Experience" for business applications. It was built on top of Microsoft .NET runtime and IDE, adding complex runtime abilities as well as enhancements to Visual Studio for enabling the model centric development experience. Needless to say the project was very complex and at the heart of it was the set of "Design and Runtime Model Services". Marjan was able to quickly understand the working of this complex system and come up with a solid set of automated tests to cover the features he was responsible for. When Marjan's internship ended everyone on the team agreed that he should be offered a full time position at the company. Marjan has a good spirit and strong ethics.
