I work in a school setting, counselling girls. I have a small private practise, seeing clients and supervisees. My work is heavily influenced by ACT, mindfulness and self compassion, and trauma therapies like EMDR and body wisdom therapy. I bring a strong socio political thread to my work and aim to ensure that every young woman has a strong sense of voice. My Doctoral studies are looking at how pornography is changing the adolescent victim narrative and if emotional literacy and self compassion are tools to mitigate this.
