The recommendation due to a number of factors was to implement a bespoke solution. This solution has then been architected by myself. Architected a cloud based solution in AWS, implementing full fail over capabilities, for resilience, and worked closely with developers to ensure good performance and security. The worldwide coverage of the system, particularly with personal data and the sharing of, introduces GDPR issues. We have devised ways to anonymise data from multiple locations, but to then match this anonymous data from around the world, giving even more value to the data.
