We felt the need to show our appreciation for all their hard work. • Helped my family to network, design and source materials for a project at the hospital to make visors/face shields for the medical staff. • Supported several charities to deliver food parcels here in the UK and helped to fund charities to do the same in India to families affected by Covid-19.   Throughout my final year of studies, I worked for JB construction to allow myself to get a head start in the industry and career I wanted to pursue. I started work as a general operative completing labour work around many different sites around the UK. I then progressed onto working alongside the main Engineer as a trainee, shadowing and gaining as much knowledge and experience as possible. Certain tasks I would assist with daily included; setting out using a TS16 station and CS20 controller, concrete leveling and testing, measuring check points and much more. Overall, I can say that this practical experience gave me a wealth of knowledge and helped towards my academic degree. Show less
