Luke reported to me directly during his time on two major ERP projects and again during four e-Commerce platform implementations. Between major projects, as CFO, I relied heavily on Luke's expertise as Pricing Manager in managing ongoing margin, price control and financial price modelling within a complex pricing structure. Luke was also called upon by senior managers to problem solve a wide range of issues and provide input into strategic pricing decisions. Luke's attention to detail, dedication to task and commitment to quality and team goals was outstanding. In addition, his understanding of margin management and commercial imperatives meant that I could take comfort in trusting Luke's judgement in day to day decision making and his approach to overall project planning. Luke challenged the status quo in a way that was consultative and well considered. Luke is an intelligent, likeable and hard working individual. I was Luke´s direct manager and really enjoyed working with him. He presents that balance in a person that I find hard to find. Someone that can talk both technical and marketing languages. He can sit on his own with a huge spreadsheet but functions beautifully in a team. He can execute and finish detailed tasks but has great ideas of the strategic direction. He is always looking for ways to improve processes, business results and himself. He is extremely hard working, loyal, knowledgable, clever, committed, positive, friendly and lovely to be around.
