I had the pleasure of working with Luke on a project in 2019. We built a mobile-friendly rails app with a SQL backend that let users create and review flashcards. In a team of a dozen people, Luke stood out not just for how quickly he adopted new technologies, but for excellent frontend design work. On a personal level, Luke is a great guy to work with. He's efficient while easygoing, generous with his time when pairing with other engineers, and was well-liked by the whole team. He's highly knowledgeable while willing to learn from anyone. I'd jump at an opportunity to work with him again.
