He founded the Cancer Research Society at the University of Manchester and as such as been instrumental to raising funds and awareness with activities across the whole University. Within his position in the Physics department, he is extraordinarily talented in scientific research and just as much in his ability to help others understand difficult concepts in a way that infects them with the incredible passion he brings to the subject. Luke has the ability to make any topic or task engaging, interesting and fun and manages to apply these talents among academic involvement and his contribution to the Manchester Uni American Football team, among many.
