Lucas recently recruited me for a very specific technical role. He put heaps of effort into understanding the client's needs which meant that he was able to find the right candidate who met their requirements. His proffesionalism and repect for his clients and candidates is second to none.

Engineering People is a boutique agency specialising in the engineering and trades fields at all levels, from graduates & trade assistants to engineering & maintenance managers. My role consists of assisting the managing director in strategic planning for the business, ensuring WHS compliance, maintenance of our workshop, training of graduate/trainee recruiters and managing a team of three consultants.Adding to the workload above, I am also a billing manager. I specialise in the trades fields where I leverage my background as a qualified boilermaker with industry experience in working as a maintenance fitter. In my five plus years in this organisation I have also been trained in CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Inventor and Revit) and have a firm knowledge of the white collar engineering field including estimators, design engineers, engineering managers and much more.If you have any questions on how our practical assessment in our workshop (yes, you read that right, our workshop) increases retention of candidates by ensuring the best fit possible, please call us on 03 9018 8970.

Engineering People is a boutique agency specialising in the engineering and trades fields at all levels, from graduates & trade assistants to engineering & maintenance managers.I originally started with the company in August 2015 as a trainee consultant and have worked my way up to be a senior consultant. My skill in this area was highlighted when I was awarded the biggest biller award in 2019 for my company record year, this was the first year that Engineering People had handed out this award and unfortunately due to Covid-19 we didn't have the award for 2020.My role consists of end to end recruitment services for my clients, this means that not only will I be the person who takes the job brief and communicates with the hiring manager, but I will also be the person who recruits the candidate and manages the on-boarding process, this allows a seamless process with less complications.I specialise in the trades fields where I leverage my background as a qualified boilermaker with industry experience in working as a maintenance fitter. Interlink Pumps and Sprayers are a supplier to the agricultural industry in the Sunraysia area (North West Victoria). I was employed by Interlink originally to work in the mechanical fitting division before moving into the fabrication department. In this role I was responsible for interpreting engineering drawings, measuring, marking & cutting material, fabrication and solid wire MIG welding. Some of the items I manufactured included chassis for vineyard sprayers, industrial fans including the hangers and much more. In this role I honed my fabrication & MIG skills and left a much more confident tradesperson.
