We create education modules using mobile technology and microcomputers. The goal is to bring basic education, financial literacy, entrepreneurial and workforce training to vulnerable populations around the world. Through education and mentoring we empower people, especially women, and provide a sustainable future for the individuals and their families. Leadership: Developed and wrote business plan, bylaws and articles of incorporation. Collaborate with external organizations to foster partnerships and strategic alliances to further the mission of Teach By Tech. Organize and mentor volunteers. Financial: Create budgets for all programs. Oversee all fundraising campaigns. Document all surces of revenue and expenses. Curriculum development: I have written a 12 week business education curriculum that encompasses all aspects of business development, from understanding What is Business? to Developing a business plan. Within each module women are introduced to new concepts and basic numeracy. The delivery of the curriculum is through a hybrid model. Women receive 50% of instruction in a face to face setting and 50% of instruction via mobile phones. I have also written an 9 week financial literacy course tailored to meet the specific needs of refugees in the United States. This course begins with an introduction to U.S. currency before tackling other concepts such as introduction to banking, savings plans and credit options. Videography: skills include Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, certificates in field production and studio production. Social Media: Develop social media campaigns and content for Twitter and Facebook. Show less
