As CTO, I am responsible for building our Fusion Elements platform. Elements is used by Fusion and their RIA clients to help them manage over 3 billion in assets. Elements was developed in-house and includes; a ticking system, account opening, portfolio management, performance reporting, trading, billing, and client portal system. Elements is the only trading system that allows for the easy mixing of models and securities within a model, and for managers of managers. The billing system is the first double entry billing system ever created for financial services and allows unparalleled transparency in billing. The first system to allow users to open multiple accounts, with multiple custodians from a single docusign envelope. This includes our proprietary forms engine that determines which forms are required, validates and verifies data entered, enforces business rules, generates paperwork for e-signing or wet signature. Created a unique trading and performance reporting system that is based upon assets and behaviors rather than the traditional transaction-based accounting that is prevalent today. This allows us to ensure accurate trades, identify potential trade errors in advance, and minimize performance reporting issues. Created a unique process for task assignment and prioritization that combines Robotic Process Automation (developed in-house) with complex rules to allow operation teams to focus their work on the tasks that have the highest priority - and let's the system work the (wait and see) tasks, freeing up their time, reducing costs, inbound calls (by over 75%) and increasing customer satisfaction. Integrated with: TD, Schwab, Apex, Plaid, Allianz, FanMail/DTS Vision, FeeX, Orion, Docusign, Redtail, Wealthbox, Multiple AI engines, and dozens of other systems. The Elements platform is built on an Open REST API that is integrated with Zapier and used by our clients to automate and streamline their operations. Show less

In 2012, in response to the shrinking margins in the Direct Marketing business, Leibel and Moe Breitowitz (production manager at Radical Printing) teamed up with Jeff Cutter, CPA and Morgan Wendlandt to create Radical Promoting. A marketing firm exclusively for the Investment Advisor Representative, at the time an underserved market. At Radical Promoting, we combined the marketing engine that Leibel had created at Radical Printing and re-geared it for the higher net worth advisor. We built out a digital online marketing platform using social media and created an advisor marketing and coaching system that took advisors from $2-3 Million in production a year to $10+ Million/year. As the Chief Marketing Officer at Radical Promoting, Leibel built the process, technology, and programs we used to service our advisors. Leibel was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business. At Radical, Leibel built an in-house Social Media marketing system that allowed us to create "template" social posts and documents which the system then personalized for each client, with their branding, marketing, and personal information. It then managed the approval process and posting to social media. The system used a complex rules-based system to determine when to publish each post, ensuring that we were leveraging the best content possible. The system was capable of: - pushing/hosting out blogs, upcoming events, podcasts, in-the-news, and web content that was frequently created by our team, this eliminated the need to manual update each client's site. - A dynamic email system that created on-demand emails based on the latest content published to the advisors site. - The system also created branded print documents that advisors could use with their clients. This technology and efficiency allowed our team to remain focused on creating new content rather than "pushing" out content, or "personalizing" content - which is the primary cost of most marketing agencies. Developed and ran, low volume, personal touch, multi-channel lead generation and follow-up marketing programs for advisors, insurance marketers, and independent IMO and FMOs. Developed proprietary and cutting-edge personal touch printing and drip marketing technologies. Build our production, sales, and dev teams, and process for running the business. Navigated through the 2008/9 financial crisis, and pivoted from Mortgage brokers/real estate investors to financial advisors. The technologies we developed allowed us to: - Print envelopes that looked like they were hand addressed, these were virtually indistinguishable from real hand addressed envelopes. This included finding printers that were cost effective and could reproduce the hand writing, as well as software for creating the hand written addresses. This wasn't just a font, it involved a process that made it photo-realisitic and has yet to be duplicated. - Developed a "personalized red marker" technology that allowed us to write personalized messages in red marker on our mailings. These greatly increased response rates, and since they were printed they could be done for a fraction of the cost. - deliver white-labeled services for our clients - gather insights about our direct marketing results, which allowed us to refine our marketing message and deliver better results. - Allowed us to manage long-running (2 year+) campaigns that were tailor specific to individuals. This allowed our clients to follow-up on every lead, for long periods of time until they eventually became clients. We were able to do this at a really low cost to both ourselves and our clients, entirely due to the software and processes we had developed. - Created an online CRM system that was integrated with our offline production/follow-up system. This allowed us to push out leads and tasks as part of the follow-up process, and allowed our clients to update client information, and manage the follow-up sequence for individual users. Show less

Leibel built American IT Solutions, an IT consulting company for small businesses in the Baltimore area, American IT Solutions provided data protection and disaster recovery services. Leibel created a low cost block level backup system that was WORM compliant, and a bare metal backup and restore process that allowed restoration of servers to dissimilar hardware platforms, a solution that did not exist outside of enterprise solutions prior to the release of Windows Vista. This technology allowed American IT Solutions to bring client servers back online within 24-hours of a disaster at minimal cost to both American IT Solutions and their clients. Developed a rapid application deployment framework that included UI, backend code, and a code writing module that allowed Leibel to rapidly build out tech solutions, and is the toolkit that allowed RadicalPrinting, Promoting, and even the initial launch of Fusion Elements to take place. Parts of this code base, and the code developed by these tools are still in use today. Show less
