  Working as a buyer for EDMI Europe, involves many different strategic level operations. One of my main tasks in to maintain CBOMs, and updating trackers regularly with cost down achieved. I am completing this for 2 product lines, comms hubs and meters. This involves meeting with suppliers on a daily basis, managing the relationship to ensure, value for money, decreased lead times, and availability of components is achieved. Alongside this I have also put processes and procedures into place, these include; supplier management policy, end to end PO/invoicing process and test asset/device process. I have completed supplier performance reviews on our key suppliers and have presented this to auditors to ensure best practice. Working on projects for local builds and ensuring that tight deadlines/delivery dates are met also is entailed within my job role, I facilitate the shortage of component supply.Alongside this, I have also had the opportunity to set up new suppliers, ensuring that they have all the correct ISO certifications and fall in line with our supplier management policy.

  As a supply chain associate my role was to ensure that all purchase requisitions were raised to purchase orders in a timely, concise and efficient manor. Whilst managing this process end to end, I also have to job of ensure that best price was achieved for EDMI for the purchase of electronic components for our comms hub products. Ensuring that these components were delivered into the factory on time in order to meet our production output plan.
