Leah represented Supply Chain at the project meetings which I chaired at EDMI, I found her to be proactive and transparent in her in approach. She completed actions that came out of the meetings in a timely manner and was fully supportive of the implementation of new processes for project governance.

Working as a buyer for EDMI Europe, involves many different strategic level operations. One of my main tasks in to maintain CBOMs, and updating trackers regularly with cost down achieved. I am completing this for 2 product lines, comms hubs and meters. This involves meeting with suppliers on a daily basis, managing the relationship to ensure, value for money, decreased lead times, and availability of components is achieved. Alongside this I have also put processes and procedures into place, these include; supplier management policy, end to end PO/invoicing process and test asset/device process. I have completed supplier performance reviews on our key suppliers and have presented this to auditors to ensure best practice. Working on projects for local builds and ensuring that tight deadlines/delivery dates are met also is entailed within my job role, I facilitate the shortage of component supply.Alongside this, I have also had the opportunity to set up new suppliers, ensuring that they have all the correct ISO certifications and fall in line with our supplier management policy.
