      • Jan 2015 - Jun 2016

As associate editor, I wrote and copy edited content for D CEO, a print publication with a focus on business in Dallas/Fort Worth. I was heavily involved in the creation and production of the Dallas 500, an annual print publication that featured interviews with the 500 most powerful and influential business leaders in DFW. I was in charge of securing interviews and headshots for the 500 business leaders, as well as fact checking and copy editing. In addition, I served as the project manager for six editorial driven awards programs. This included building nomination forms, coordinating email marketing campaigns to the business audience, hosting judging panels, and writing scripts for the awards presentation. I was also responsible for curating a weekly e-newsletter that was delivered to an audience of over 17,000 and updating the website with current content. In addition, I wrote content for D Magazine's health and fitness blog. I had the opportunity to interview local Dallas celebrities on their unique health and fitness routines.

I built and maintained all survey platforms, coordinated all marketing efforts, and analyzed incoming data. I also managed a research assistant and intern and enforced fact checking schedules and deadlines.
