As a RYT (200 hour) certified yoga instructor, my responsibilities involve providing participants on different forms of yoga and its effect on the body and mind. To analyze the level of each participant in order to design a safe and comprehensive sequence to meet the needs of every individual. As well as to demonstrate and cue techniques in private and group lessons while offering modifications catered to each participant to enhance the connection between their mind, body, and spirit. Campaigns and Data Intern

Grades of Green is an environmental non-profit that is changing the course of the future by making environmental protection second nature in young minds today. As a Campaigns and Data Intern I provided assistance with seasonal Campaigns – Reduce Plastic including general Campaign support, data entry, data analysis, and data organization across multiple departments with a primary focus on Campaign data. My responsibilities included inputting Campaign Teams’ notes and results into spreadsheet throughout Campaign, assisting with Meeting notes, researching solution resources for Campaign Teams, researching and compiling list of grants that students can apply for, assisting in the development of an accurate master excel spreadsheet of Grades of Green supported student teams and schools, entering relevant environmental metrics, regional specific information such as supervisorial county, district, and other data into database, assisting in the analysis of environmental metrics, entering data into internal databases as needed, cleaning up and re-organize programs and other folders in SharePoint database.

Head Coordinator of the Environmental Sustainability Department

As the coordinator for the school wide sustainability department I conducted research and wrote articles centered on sustainability for the Ohlone Green newsletter reaching over 11,000 college students. I created, maintained, and updated the virtual garden tour at the Ohlone College Newark campus,consisting of QR codes that explain the life of each plant in the garden. This aided students in learningmore about their environment by making it accessible for them through their phones. Moreover, I helped create a composting sector within the campus community garden consisting of two large bins, accessible for all students and faculty to distribute their compostable materials. Implementing thissector reduced the amount of waste across campus by 10%.

Front Desk Coordinator

Serving as the face of this studio, my duty was to offer friendly service to quests entering the building or calling in on the phone. Other responsibilities included directing customers to classes, answering, screening and forwarding calls, equipping the desk with all necessary stationary (e.g. pens, forms and brochures), providing basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email, receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries, maintaining office security by following safety procedures and controlling access to classes via the reception desk (monitor logbook), updating class schedules, and handling filing and data entry as requested.

IHSS Provider

While performing general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, cleaning, dusting, and picking up/taking out the garbage, I also assisted with laundry and bed linen changes, prepared food for patients, provided counseling on diet and exercise, implemented behavior plans, taught self-care skills, provided patients with groceries, and transported patients to doctors' office or hospital. Furthermore, I assisted clients with personal hygiene, feeding, dressing, bathing, and toileting as needed. I Prepared meals and performed menu planning and meal preparation for later use, maintained a safe home environment in compliance with the home care program's policies, provided companionship and protective supervision as needed, regular updates of client care records along with documenting and reporting any changes in clients' physical or mental statuses or any major changes in clients' home environments to the home care program manager.
