In my most recent job role, I efficiently improved 400 pupils' performance by using strategic leadership. By returning to regular school programming, I was able to maintain and stabilize my presence in the LA County Jails and after Covid. I confirmed the impact on the academic progress of in-custody students using data gathered and annual reports for LASD. For the new site's in-custody, CTE, TAY, and online learning programs, I provided great support and temporary administrative covering. In this role, my accomplishments have been the following: **Increased ADA in jail from 450 to 600 via strategic planning and execution. **Led multiple committees, involving successful six-year WASC re-accreditation during COVID. **Drove business efficiency by developing training materials and policy/procedures for entire organization. **Established team of 1K student high school with more than 30 teachers in the LA County Jails. (Pre-covid). **Initiated successful online/eLearning high school with 150 students enrolled in Jan and 400 students in Sep. **Enriched quality educational experience and maintained proper alignment of resources by deploying both academic rigor and data collection. **Coordinated with DEIB and Learning & Development committee that significantly updated California Healthy Youth Act curriculum to more inclusive of LGBTQ+ issues as well as supportive of non-binary students.
