I was Kelson's Area Manager for Volkswagen when he was the General Manager at Lex Preston. It was a real pleasure to work with him as the standards he set himself and his team were of the very highest order and his customer orientation was also excellent. This was reflected in his retailer achieving all the required KPIs with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction, volume and brand standards. Although Lex was a high volume retailer, a relaxed but highly professional attitude was always present which made the showroom and service environment a nice place for customers to do their business. This was a direct result of the trust and responsibility he put in his staff to work with the customer front of mind at all times. Kelson was truly brand aligned and a real Volkwagen brand ambassador. It was a loss to Preston and Volkswagen when he moved on and I would jump at the chance to work with him again.
