As a member of the founding team of the first all girls public charter middle school in Los Angeles, Kelly commanded multiple roles and responsibilities. As the Founding Principal, I worked with Kelly to ensure smooth school operations, district compliance, staff and student safety, and excellent relationships with our community. Every year, our school scaled in size and even location. At the helm of organizing the next growth phase or transition, Kelly designed and executed the plans. Beyond these responsibilities, Kelly also led our school athletic program and grew it over the five years at GALS LA to include external, professional movement instructors for yoga and dance.
