Keith Poston is an executive leader who has many talents. He took on the leadership of the Public School Forum of North Carolina at a time when it was bare bones without infrastructure and without funding. He is fearless. He joined with other loyal Forum supporters to rebuild the organization from the inside out. Our firm worked with him for years writing a fundraising plan and supplying interim staffing. The team is now self-sufficient and the impact of the Forum's programs spans the state. Keith did not lose sight of his constituency, of those who are served by the Forum - the families whose children need access to a first-rate education. He managed to do this in an aggressively nonpartisan manner. Keith is a big-picture and visionary thinker, but also possesses the tactical knowledge of how to execute a plan. In addition, Keith is a high-level and experienced communicator. He created a new weekly TV show, Education Matters, that airs on WRAL-TV. The show tackles the toughest educational issues facing the state and brings together state leaders who can articulate the issues and proposed solutions. His depth and breadth of experience, combined with an easy-going and personable leadership style, are a rare combination of talents.
