I have experience as a director leading teams in multiple bluechip companies. It's become quite straight forward for me to spot natural talent. Katie is up there with the best leaders I've worked with. She leads with a meritocractic approach, and is always on top of thing from a high level to a very detailed level. Katie is driven and able to pass that drive on to her team who are very respectiful of Katie. Similarly Katie's client base (1,500 at point of writing) is very respectful of her. Katie some how manages to keep the balance between keeping everyone happy some of the time, and keeping some of the people happy all the time. Much of this comes from the policies, procedures and directions she has developed with her team which provide solid guidance whilst also allowing individual autonomy. Katie is very understnding of different personalities in the team and embraces diversity, showing an apititude for understanding the different dynamic people from different backgrounds can give the team. I am proud to be in the position to recommend Katie in any role. She never fails to give 100%. Like in any business, Katie has had some complex interpersonal issues to resolve within the client base and with past team members. She has dealt with each occurance with 100% controlled compassion to all involved. In such situations, Katie never makes snap decisions, and follows her own process of assessment seeking support of her management team whenever appropriate. I can only see Katie growing from strength to strength. If I had the business opportunity, I would hire Katie without hesitation.
